By accessing, registering, or making any payment through https://nmuc.edu.my, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, set forth by MARITIME INTELLIGENCE SDN. BHD. (867557-P) on behalf of Netherlands Maritime University College (NMUC). 

1. Programme Registration and Fee Payment 

  • All tuition fees, registration fees, administrative fees, programme fees, examination fees, and any other charges related to academic programmes offered by NMUC may be paid through this platform. 
  • Students are responsible for ensuring that all personal information and programme details submitted during registration and payment are accurate and complete. 
  • NMUC reserves the right to reject or suspend any registration where inaccurate or incomplete information is provided. 

2. Fees and Payment

  • All fees are quoted and payable in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless otherwise stated. 
  • Full payment or the applicable payment amount must be received before registration, enrolment, course access, examination participation, or any related academic services can be confirmed. 
  • Payments are processed securely through authorized payment gateway providers. 
  • NMUC reserves the right to revise fees and charges at any time, subject to applicable regulations and institutional policies. 

3. Refunds and Fee Adjustments

  • Refund requests shall be subject to NMUC’s prevailing Refund Policy and any applicable programme-specific terms. 
  • Approved refunds, if any, will be processed through the original payment method where practicable. 
  • Administrative charges or deductions may apply in accordance with NMUC policies. 
  • Fee adjustments arising from programme deferment, withdrawal, termination, scholarship awards, or other approved circumstances shall be subject to NMUC’s approval and policies. 

4. ProgrammeChanges 
NMUC reserves the right to modify, postpone, reschedule, suspend, or discontinue any programme, course, intake, academic activity, examination, or related service due to academic, operational, regulatory, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control. 

Where appropriate, affected students will be notified through official communication channels. 

5. Student Responsibilities
Students agree to: 

  • Comply with all NMUC academic regulations, policies, and procedures. 
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information. 
  • Fulfil all financial obligations by the stipulated deadlines. 
  • Retain payment receipts and supporting documents for verification purposes. 

6. Prohibited Activities
Users shall not: 

  • Attempt unauthorized access to any NMUC system, platform, database, or information. 
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the payment platform or related systems. 
  • Use the website or platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes. 
  • Misrepresent their identity or provide false information. 

7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MARITIME INTELLIGENCE SDN. BHD. and NMUC shall not be liable for: 

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage. 
  • Delays or interruptions caused by internet connectivity, system maintenance, payment gateway issues, or technical failures. 
  • Losses arising from incorrect information submitted by users. 
  • Circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to force majeure events, regulatory changes, governmental actions, natural disasters, pandemics, or other unforeseen events. 

8. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal information collected through this platform shall be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and NMUC’s Privacy Policy. By using this platform, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information for purposes related to registration, enrolment, payment processing, academic administration, and institutional communication.
